WVIA PR – WVIA’s Transmitter Repaired

WVIA’s television transmitter is back in service, operating at 100 percent, station officials announced today. WVIA’s transmitter went down June 3rd, causing a TV programming blackout for the station’s over-the-air viewers. Service to cable and satellite TV subscribers experienced only minor interruptions.

WVIA is proud to announce that the overall 2015-2016 Scholastic Scrimmage champion is Lakeland Junior Senior High School. The team consisting of Graeme Nichols, Armen Rissmiller, Ty Nichols, Stephen Liuzzo, Michael Goerlitz, Dylan Smith and advisor, Ms. Jill Marino received a $5,000 check from WVIA and medals and a plaque for their school's trophy case.
