Cambridge-Isanti schools close following "rumored, potential threat"

Schools in the Cambridge-Isanti school district closed Wednesday as authorities investigate a "rumored, potential threat."

In a Facebook announcement posted around 6:30 a.m. the district said it closed the schools as a precaution. The post did not contain any details on the nature of the threat.

The closures include primary K-2 schools, intermediate schools, middle schools and the Cambridge-Isanti High School.

The district said more information would be released
