Celebrating 25 Years of Conservation

Posted by Erika Funke on

The North Branch Land Trust completed its first conservation easement in 1995 when a couple from Maryland was moved to protect their 43-acre family farm in Luzerne County near Shickshinny.  This year marks the organization's 25th anniversary, and Paul Lumia, NBLT Executive Director stopped in at the VIA studios to talk with Keystone Edition's Erika Funke about the group's vision and accomplishments.

They continue to celebrate with "Taste the Local Harvest" Sunday, October 13 at 5:00 at the Huntsville Golf Club in Dallas, PA. For more information: www.nblt.org.
