Filmed at London’s Limehouse Studios in front of a live audience in 1985, BLUE SUEDE SHOES - A ROCKABILLY SESSION features the legendary Carl Perkins alongside luminaries Ringo Starr, Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Dave Edmunds and Rosanne Cash. Performing a selection of songs Perkins first introduced to the world back in the 1950s, the musicians unite to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the rock ‘n’ roll pioneer’s “Blue Suede Shoes” – an instant classic that earned a place in the history books when it became the first million-seller to crossover from the country chart to the pop and R&B listings. This newly enhanced presentation brings BLUE SUEDE SHOES – A ROCKABILLY SESSION to audiences in high definition for the first time.
