PITTSTON, Pa. – Daniel Tiger’s “Be My Neighbor Day” invites children and families to participate in family volunteer activities that will support neighbors in need on Sunday, October 22 from noon to 4 p.m. at PNC Field in Moosic. The event is free and open to the public.

Kids will be able to create a greeting card for residents at a senior center or nursing home, donate a new children’s book for the Bookmobile or a gently used coat for a Head Start program. Children are also encouraged to wear costumes for a special Halloween parade! Additional activities include face painting, balloons, sand art, story time with Debby the Clubhouse Mom and a special meet and greet with Daniel Tiger and Katerina Kittycat from PBS.
