PITTSTON, Pa. – On Monday, April 25, WVIA-TV will continue airing episodes of Scholastic Scrimmage featuring the new Lycoming County division. Muncy Junior/Senior High School will compete against Montoursville Area High School followed by Loyalsock Township High School competing against Montgomery Junior/Senior High School.

Taped at Pennsylvania College of Technology this past March, the episodes will air in succession with the first episode airing at 7 p.m. and the second airing at 7:30 p.m. on WVIA-TV.

These episodes were made possible by a grant from the Williamsport Lycoming Community Fund at the First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania which enabled Lycoming County high schools to participate in this year’s Scholastic Scrimmage competition.

Scholastic Scrimmage is a quiz show produced by WVIA Public Media showcasing high school students throughout the region.

The First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania works to improve the quality of life in north central Pennsylvania through community leadership, the promotion of philanthropy, the strengthening of nonprofit impact and the perpetual stewardship of charitable assets.
