WVIA-TV’s “Call The Doctor” to focus on Arthritis this May.

PITTSTON, Pa. – WVIA-TV’s Call the Doctor, hosted by Dr. Lauren Hazzouri, will feature two all new episodes this month talking about the subject of Arthritis.

 

The goal is to help viewers recognize the importance of a healthy lifestyle when it comes to preventing Arthritis and to learn about the options and choices they have while living with Arthritis.

 

The first episode is titled “Arthritis: Types and Symptoms” and will premiere Wednesday, May 4 at 7 p.m. Interviewed panelists for the episode include: Keith N. Shenberger, Rheumatologist, Bone and Joint Institute Susquehanna Health, and The Commonwealth Medical College, Dr. Julio Ramos, Rheumatology and Internal Medicine, The Wright Center, Dr. Thomas P. Olenginski, MD, FACP, Rheumatologist, Geisinger Health System, Christopher Samujh, MD, Orthopedic Surgeon from Moses Taylor, Commonwealth Health, Julio Ramos, MD, Rheumatology and Internal Medicine, The Wright Center, and Keith N. Shenberger, Rheumatologist, Bone and Joint Institute Susquehanna Health, and The Commonwealth Medical College.

 

The second episode is titled “Arthritis: Prevention and Treatments” and will premiere Wednesday, May 11 at 7 p.m. on WVIA-TV. Interviewed panelists for the episode include: Paul T. Cutrufello, PhD, is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Exercise Science and Sport for The University of Scranton, University of Scranton, Michael F. Murray, MD, FACMG, FACP, Director of Clinical Genomics, Geisinger Health System, Stefanie Smith, MS, RD, LDN, Dietitian and Nutritionist, Premiere Health a Nutritional Care Group, Aliasgar Chittalia, MD, MHA, Internal Medicine, Geisinger Health System, William Dempsey MD, Family Physician, The Wright Center and Diane Jason, OT, Occupational Therapist, Allied Services Integrated Health System.

 

The episodes will also feature testimonials from Irene Martin and Jeannie VanWie.

 

Encore presentations of “Call the Doctor Arthritis: Types and Symptoms” and “Call the Doctor Arthritis: Prevention and Treatments” will be shown throughout the month on WVIA-TV.
