The Chiaroscuro Jazz Conservancy

As part of WVIA's ongoing Educational outreach, we have partnered with Chiaroscuro Records for a program that brings Jazz music to the Classroom.  The Chiaroscuro Jazz Conservancy, now in its second year, pairs a jazz clinician with regional high school students for a full day of jazz music and education.  This past Sunday the students of Berwick Area High School were joined by pianist Ted Rosenthal and the NEPA Jazz Alliance for a day of musical discovery.  The session was filmed and will air on WVIA-TV at a future date, but for now you can view behind-the-scenes photos from the session and view a previous episode over at the Chiaroscuro Jazz Conservancy webpage.
