Sneak Preview Screening of POLDARK

Posted by WVIA Admin on

WVIA Public Media invites you to our exclusive Sneak Preview Showing of PBS MASTERPIECE’s Poldark on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at 3pm in the Sordoni High Definition Theater at the WVIA Studios located at 100 WVIA Way, Pittston, PA.

In addition to the Sneak Preview of Poldark, please join us in our PNC Studio for an after screening reception.

Almost 40 years ago Captain Ross Poldark galloped across the TV screens of millions of PBS viewers, vexing villains and winning female hearts in one of MASTERPIECE’s earliest hit series, Poldark. Now the gallant captain rides again in a thrilling new version with all the action, adventure, and romance of the original, plus even more spectacular Cornish scenery and rousing local color. Aidan Turner (The Hobbit) stars as Ross Poldark, a redcoat who returns to Cornwall after the American Revolutionary War to discover that his father is dead, his lands are ruined, and his true love is about to marry his first cousin. Poldark does not premiere on MASTERPIECE until Sunday, June 21 on WVIA-TV, so you’ll experience the program a full week before anyone else in the region.

Seating is free but very limited. To make your reservations, click here.
