BECOME A WVIA SUSTAINING MEMBER

When you elect to become a WVIA Sustainer, you become a vital part of the WVIA family by “sustaining” quality programming through your ongoing monthly contribution. Your gift will be transferred conveniently each month from your checking, credit or debit card account to WVIA. A record of each gift will appear on your bank or credit card statement. You’ll save time, money and resources! You may increase, decrease or discontinue your monthly gift at any time.

Sustainer Benefits:
- Uninterrupted membership and benefits!
- Never worry about when it is time to renew your membership.
- We automatically send you a new Membership Card each year.
- An annual tax receipt each January documenting cumulative gifts for the calendar year.
- No renewal notices and WVIA’s administrative costs will be reduced.
- Access to a yearly thank-you gift.
- Money saved on mailings can be put to use towards more programming.
- A predictable income allows WVIA to make a solid commitment to new and current projects.

Sustainer FAQ

Q: What does it mean to be a sustainer?
A: Your gift will automatically renew each month, quarter or year (one of our most popular options is $10 a month). The program is flexible, and you are always in control. Plus you don't receive renewal reminders from us - all while providing reliable funding for programs you love. As a bonus, it saves us both postage and paper, which helps us GO GREEN! If you ever need to increase, decrease, or suspend your gifts in the Sustainer program, all you have to do is contact our member services department by calling 570-602-1110.

Q: Am I still eligible for thank you gifts?
A: Yes, when you set up your pledge to automatically renew, you are still eligible for thank you gifts. If during one of our on-air fundraisers, you hear of a gift that piques your interest, please call WVIA’s Membership Department at (570) 602-1110, or email memberservices@wvia.org. You are eligible to receive thank-you gifts offered at a pledge level equal to your total donations for your membership year. (e.g. If you pledge $10 monthly, you are eligible for a thank you gift offered at the $120 pledge level.)

Q: What if my credit card expires or changes?
A: If your credit card expires or changes please call Rebecca Czock at (570) 602-1135 or Caroline Casey at (570) 602-1123. We cannot currently accept credit card changes online.

Q: How can I change or cancel my sustaining pledge?
A: You may decrease or discontinue your monthly gift at any time. You can submit your request in writing to: WVIA SUSTAINERS – 100 WVIA Way, Pittston, PA 18640 or by calling Member Services at (570) 602-1135
