In this season of Thanksgiving, all of us at WVIA thank all the  generous members who helped in our November fund-raising drive. We welcomed over a hundred new members to the family…many others renewed as sustainers, with monthly donations that renew automatically… still others came through with additional gifts and special challenges to help us get closer to the goal.  To honor all our loyal members, we ended the drive on time, but you still have a chance to donate online.

We can thank you with a beautiful balsam wreath for the holidays…tickets for James Taylor,  Trans Siberian Orchestra, Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic and Williamsport Symphony Orchestra holiday concerts, Brian Setzer Orchestra Christmas Rocks extravaganza or the ballet Swan Lake at the Community Arts Center…An Evening with Groucho, or the holiday concert by the bluegrass band Cabinet at the F M Kirby Center…and more while they last.

Thank you for sustaining the broadcast programming and the community outreach  of your non-profit, public service, arts and information station. And Happy Thanksgiving from  WVIA.

Sustainer FAQ

Q: What does it mean to be a sustainer?
A: Ongoing monthly contribution of $4 or more automatically from your checking, credit or debit card account to WVIA. This makes supporting WVIA so easy and affordable because your ongoing contribution automatically happens monthly until you tell us to stop. Your membership always stays current so you never worry about when it is time to renew your membership. Plus you don't receive renewal reminders from us - all while providing reliable funding for programs you love. As a bonus, it saves us both postage and paper, which helps us GO GREEN!

Q: Am I still eligible for thank you gifts?
A: Yes, when you set up your pledge to automatically renew, you are still eligible for thank you gifts. If during one of our on-air fundraisers, you hear of a gift that piques your interest, please call WVIA’s Membership Department’s Caroline Casey at (570) 602-1123, or email her at You are eligible to receive thank-you gifts offered at a pledge level equal to your total donations for your membership year. (e.g. If you pledge $10 monthly, you are eligible for a thank you gift offered at the $120 pledge level.)

A: If your credit card expires or changes please call Rebecca Czock at (570) 602-1135 or Caroline Casey at (570) 602-1123. We cannot currently accept credit card changes online.
