Take the Cross Valley in Luzerne County to Dallas and meet at the intersection where memories of the past merge with the momentum of the future.

Natona Mills, a thriving industry in the late 1940’s is now the Twin Stacks Center offering new opportunities in the Back Mountain.

Students in the Dallas School District connect with community leaders to learn first-hand about preparing for their careers. The Rasmussen House of Misericordia University offers young mothers opportunities to earn their college degrees.

Agricultural roots are generations deep and harvested yearly at Brace’s Orchard; Verve Vertu Art Studio is a haven of creativity and gifted local artists; And The Back Mountain Library Auction is one of the highlights of the summer coupled with occasional detours to Harvey’s Lake for a change of scenery.

It’s a community honoring what was to make way for what’s to come—knowing their part of the Back Mountain is “The Heart of the Back Mountain”… and a great place to call “home”.

"Our Town Dallas," is produced in partnership with the Dallas Post and Times Leader.
