Dunmore

In the late 1700’s William Allsworth settled in an area of Lackawanna County brimming with beauty and bounty. He thought it to be an ideal spot where tired emigrants could stop, eat, and feel welcomed. Today, that same spirit of warmth and hospitality exists in Dunmore, where family traditions are celebrated to the hilt, where Bucks rule the football field, and a balance of faith and gusto is the secret to life.

From the Patch to Bunker Hill, Drinker Street and beyond, meet the people of Dunmore and feel right at home as WVIA presents "Our Town Dunmore," produced in partnership with The Times-Tribune in Scranton.
