Salute


Do you know someone who does not simply accept the status quo and/or someone whose goodwill has affected and inspired you?  WVIA's Stay Tuned is looking to spotlight the courageous, compassionate, and passionate everyday citizens who make a difference in their communities and in the lives of others.      

Salute also pays tribute to individuals like Joseph Pagnani, a WWII veteran whose experience carries forward important lessons of history, and others whose extraordinary stories simply need to be told.

Meet the Team

Adriane Heine

Adriane HeineHost Adriane Heine is a 1990 graduate of Lehigh University. She is the Adoption Specialist for Friendship House in Scranton, PA, working to connect children in foster care with adoptive families. She is also a Contributing Columnist for the Abington Journal, writing a monthly column titled Parenting Abington Style. Her columns have garnered 3 Keystone Press Awards presented by the Pennsylvania Newspaper Association. Adriane is on the Board of Trustees of the Waverly Community House, serving as the Chair of Children’s Programming. She and her husband, Doug, own a local real estate investment and management company. They are raising three daughters in the Abingtons.
