Initiated by Members of the U.S. House of Representatives in 1982, the event is a nationwide annual Art Competition that allows high school students from the fifty states, the District of Columbia, and territories to showcase their artistic ability. As a result, the winning work from each Congressional district is displayed in a ten month exhibit in the U.S. Capitol. WVIA is proud to host the qualifcation for Congressmen Carney and Kanjorski for the 10th and 11th Congressional Districts.
