Resource parents needed in Pike County
Pike County Children and Youth Services is seeking individuals to serve as resource parents, formerly known as foster parents.
Resource parents provide a temporary family life experience in approved households for children who cannot remain in their homes.
To qualify, resource parents must be U.S. Citizens and at least 21 years old. They must also receive clearances and pass a physical examination, among other criteria.
Resource parents will receive training and support from Children and Youth Services as well as daily stipends to assist with living expenses.
