Pennsylvania State Troopers shot and killed a 41-year-old Pittston man early Friday morning in Plains Twp.
According to a press release from State Police Troop P, troopers opened fire on Jason Patrick Kilduff after he struck troopers with his pickup truck in the parking lot of a bar.
Police responded to a disturbance at Ole Tyme Charley's Pub and Grill after 1:30 a.m.
Troopers allege Kilduff had assaulted a bar employee and a patron before they arrived on the scene.
The release states that Kilduff drove his vehicle toward troopers, injuring one officer before police opened fire, killing him.
