The 30th Luzerne County Community College history conference will take place on Monday, Oct. 10 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the college’s Educational Conference Center.
The free event is open to the public and its theme is “Pennsylvania in the Revolutionary Era."
Three sessions will take place in the morning and early afternoon, followed by a panel discussion.
The session titles are as follows: “Raiding, Retribution and Ruthlessness: Loyalists, the Iroquois Confederacy, and the Embattled NY-Penna Frontier”; “Molly Pitcher: Myth or Heroine”; and “Prominent Pennsylvanians at the Birth of Our Nation."
