Representatives from the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre will be in Williamsport to discuss the VA’s operations.
The community town hall on Wednesday, April 26, will provide veterans, family members and the public a chance to ask questions about expanded benefits through the passing of the PACT Act as well as about other programs.
The Wilkes-Barre VA’s Women’s Health Program Manager will be available to provide information and answer questions about women’s veteran health care within the VA.
Staff will be also on hand to assist veterans with VA Health Care Enrollment.
The meetings are intended to provide local veterans an open forum with VA officials to take a step toward improvement and to rebuild trust among veterans.
The meeting begins at 5 p.m. at Pennsylvania College of Technology’s Davie Jane Gilmour Center in Williamsport.
