Next month, the F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts will screen a documentary made by two Wilkes-Barre natives.
Matthew and Ryan Mayers directed the 2021 film, Walk With Frank, which followed a Vietnam War veteran as he walked across New York State.
The Mayer Brothers will be at the Kirby Center on May 19 for the documentary screening and Q&A session with the subject of the film, Frank Romeo.
Romeo crossed the state on foot to talk about PTSD and discuss how art worked for him as therapy.
The May 19th screening begins at 7:30.
Tickets can be purchased at kirbycenter.org. Free entry for veterans available by calling the Kirby Center box office at (570) 826-1100.
