Schools across the commonwealth will receive grants to establish or expand dual credit programs for high school students.
Lakeland School District in Lackawanna County, Lake Lehman School District in Luzerne County, Montrose Area School District in Susquehanna and other local districts are among 100 schools awarded up to $75,000 for dual credit programs which allow high school students to earn college credits.
The Pennsylvania Department of Education announced the grant winners on Monday. A full list of awardees is available here.
