FBI Searches Utah Sites Tied to Vegas Ricin Case

A Nevada man who was likely exposed to the toxin ricin late last week remains in a coma after being found in his hotel room along with emaciated pets. Police searching the room found vials of ricin, the castor beans needed to make it, and an "anarchist-type textbook."

Roger von Bergendorff, 54, has been hospitalized for nearly three weeks and is unconscious.

Ashley Powers, the Las Vegas bureau chief for the Los Angeles Times, says the comatose man had recently moved to Las Vegas from Salt Lake City, where a federal investigation continues.

FBI agents have searched storage units in Utah — and in another home where he stayed.

Powers talks with Melissa Block.
