Kenya's Vote Count, Election Process Scrutinized

More than 100 people have died in riots sparked by election results in Kenya, and the United States says it's not ready to recognize the winner of the presidential election because of serious concerns with the vote count and a lack of transparency in the process.

President Mwai Kibaki was declared the winner by an "exceptionally close" margin Sunday after days of ballot counting in the hotly contested presidential race. Minutes after the announcement, Kibaki was sworn into office.

Michael Ranneberger, the American ambassador to Kenya, talks with Melissa Block.
