Williamsport City Council voted last Thursday for a tax increase along with their 2025 budget.

Mayor Derek Slaughter proposes a 2% increase, which would mean two straight years of higher taxes. Whether the City Council approves remains unclear.

BKV Group was chosen by Williamsport City Council to conduct a feasibility study on City Hall. The study could take three months to complete and will look for an option to either buy a new building, rent space or renovate City Hall.
