Join WVIA for News & Brews at Blind Cat Beer Company in Pittston - a special live community event celebrating trusted news, great beer, and the power of local public media.

We’ll be broadcasting live with WVIA News Reporter Haley O’Brien, sharing stories from across our region in a relaxed, pub-style atmosphere. Meet members of the WVIA News and Membership teams, sign up for membership on-site, and enjoy giveaways and WVIA swag throughout the evening.

This event takes place during NewsMatch — which means every donation made to WVIA that night will be DOUBLED to support local, independent journalism in Northeastern & Central Pennsylvania.

Blind Cat Beer Company will be featuring Signal Lager, a limited-edition beer brewed exclusively for WVIA. For every pint or can sold, $1 will be donated to WVIA — and thanks to NewsMatch, your direct gifts will go twice as far.
