The Wilkes-Barre City Health Department is hosting free flu vaccine clinics throughout October for city residents.
The vaccine will be available for anyone six months of age and older. A high-dose flu vaccine is available for those 65 and older.
The first clinic will be held on Thursday, Oct. 6, from 4 to 6 p.m. at St. Mary’s Antiochian Orthodox Church, 905 South Main St.
Drive through clinics will be held on Friday, Oct. 7, from 4 to 7 and Saturday, Oct. 8, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Kirby Health Center, 71 North Franklin St.
Additionally, clinics will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 12, from 3 to 6 at Hollenback Fire Station, 1020 North Washington St.; Monday, Oct. 17, from 3 to 6, First Assembly of God, 424 Stanton St.; and Monday, Oct. 24, from 3 to 6, Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, 401 East Main St.
Proof of residency is required.
