In the 1960s the brothers Perugino built a drag strip in Bear Creek Township, PA and they called it the Pocono Drag Lodge. Though it only operated for less than 8 years, it stirs up some memorable moments for the large number of people, including, 5-time NHRA Champion, Joe Amato who talks about cutting his teeth racing there.
