Residents from Oaxacan town Niltepec alchemize blue indigo pigment from the jiquilite plant (Indigofera suffruticosa). Residents of all ages revisit the ancient practice of their Zapotec and Zoque ancestors, despite the increasing challenges of climate change and lack of governmental subsidies, in what we hope turns out to be The New Indigo Wave.
