The Treaty of Ghent

The Treaty of Ghent outlines the agreement that ended the war. The negotiating nations, Britain and the U.S. largely ignored the rights of Native nations in the settling of the conflict. The treaty was signed December 24, 1814, but not ratified until 1815.
