Wayne Highlands School District

Lakeside Elementary School is among the first recipients of a new state award created after the Trump Administration ended the prestigious Blue Ribbon program last month.

The center for students in the Delaware Valley, Wallenpaupack Area, Wayne Highlands and Western Wayne school districts also would offer adult education. Area leaders say the center would have a major impact on the local workforce.
