Sara McDonald
Sara McDonald is a life long resident of Lackawanna County. She has a bachelor’s degree in Human Development & Family Studies from the Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Social Work degree from Marywood University. She has worked for the Lackawanna County Department of Human Services for 18 years. She started as a caseworker with the Office of Youth & Family Services and has spent the last 10 years in various management positions within the Aging Department. She loves the work her office does in advocating for and meeting the needs of individuals 60 years and older to make our community the best place for them to reside.

Sarah Bodnar
Sarah Bodnar is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the Director of Community Health and Aging at United Neighborhood Centers (UNC). She has worked at UNC for the past decade and currently oversees the agency’s health navigation and behavioral health services, as well as five Healthy Aging Campus sites in Jessup, Carbondale, Scranton, Clarks Summit, and Jefferson Township.

Stephanie Miller
Stephanie Miller is the Manager of Older Adult Programs for the United Way of Lackawanna and Wayne Counties. Working in the nonprofit sector for nearly 18 years, she has spent the last 3 years working with the United Way of Lackawanna and Wayne Counties primarily focusing on the Pennsylvania Medicare Education and Decision Insight (PA MEDI) and the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP). Through these programs, she has been able to assist older adults find robust volunteer opportunities as well as assist Medicare Beneficiaries understand their benefits, review their options, and assist with Medicare Savings Programs.
