Bargain shoppers here on the West Coast have been worried that a popular discount chain, the 99 Cent Only Store, would raise prices. Our last word in business is tiny price hike. The chain is one of the few dollar stores that still actually sell things for a dollar. Or in its case, minus a penny. The company's CEO recently said inflation and soaring costs could force him to reevaluate his pricing strategy. Now we have news that the 99 Cent Only Stores will raise prices.
