And our last word in business today is about a tall, green shoot in New York City. This one's very tall: the Empire State Building. Its owners hope to transform the icon into one of the greenest skyscrapers in the world. Landmark is undergoing a $100 million retrofitting. Workers will upgrade 6,500 windows. They'll install new energy efficient air conditioning and heating systems. New lighting is coming to each of the building's 102 floors. And under a new program, the Empire State Building's tenants will be able to monitor their energy use. This project could cut energy consumption by 38 percent, and it could save more than $4 million a year.
