Public Media Giving Days is a two-day national fundraising effort led by CDP, APT, Greater Public, PBS and NPR to help local stations grow donors, increase revenue and deepen community engagement.

In light of federal funding cuts, #PMGD2026 is especially important. This campaign highlights the value of public media — from trusted national programming to WVIA’s local journalism, productions and music — and encourages audiences to share why their station matters.
