Veterans can now access their disability benefit claims online.
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs made the change on Jan. 17, and, in a statement, said that more than 280,000 decision letters have already been downloaded from their website.
Previously, veterans could only review disability benefit decisions via mailed paper copies.
The VA expects that the National Calls Center will have more time to help with other requests from veterans and their families, according to a release.
Decision letters can be accessed by logging in to VA.gov.
