Philly Mayor-Elect Hopes to Restore 'Brotherly Love'

Michael Nutter will become the new mayor of Philadelphia next month, assuming leadership of a city that is challenged by increased levels of gun violence.

Once sworn in as Mayor, the former city councilmember of nearly 15 years says his top priority will be reducing Philadelphia's elevated crime rate. In step with that goal, Nutter recently announced his pick for the city's top cop, former District of Columbia police Chief Charles Ramsey. Ramsey is credited with lowering crime rates in Washington, D.C., which was formerly dubbed the "murder capital" of the United States.

Mayor-elect Nutter and former D.C. police chief Charles Ramsey discuss their vision for City of Brotherly Love and the difficult road ahead.
