
Dr. Carol Rittner, RSM
Dr. Carol Rittner, RSM is Distinguished Professor Emerita of Holocaust and Genocide Studies and Dr. Marsha Raticoff Grossman Professor Emerita of Holocaust Studies at Stockton University in New Jersey. She is the author or editor of 21 books and numerous essays about the Holocaust. Her most recent book is The Memory of Goodness: Eva Fleischner and Her Contributions to Holocaust Studies (2022). She is the Executive Producer of three documentaries: The Courage to Care: Rescuers of Jews During the Holocaust (1986); Triumph of Memory: Non-Jews During the Holocaust (1988); and Sisters (2015). In 2022, she was honored with The American Spirit Award by the World War II Museum in New Orleans; and she also was honored with The Nostra Aetate Award by The National Catholic Center for Holocaust Education, Seton Hill University, Greensburg, PA. Dr. Rittner is the Honorary President of the Center for Research on Women During the Holocaust, Moreshet, Mordechai Anielevich Memorial, Givat Haviva, Israel.
