
John Alaimo
Producer/DirectorJohn Alaimo has worked in several countries including Australia where he directed a one hour television drama about two United States Air Force officers in an underground missile silo titled Silo 15. It was sold to BBC2. It received an award for Exceptional Merit at the 1971 Philadelphia Festival of Short Films.
He also wrote the script and directed a drama documentary on the controversial Catalan Art Nouveau architect, Antoni Gaudi. The film, Antonio Gaudi, the Unfinished Vision, was filmed in Barcelona, Spain and shown out of competition at the 1974 Cannes film festival in the south of France.
Alaimo is presently a volunteer at WVIA-TV producing and directing videos.
