Despite one in four pregnancies ending in miscarriage, it is rarely spoken about even among close friends and family members. Our protagonists speak to this perception and how the shame and pain of baby loss continues to be internalized by women to the extent many rarely seek the needed emotional support. There is still much to be done to encourage wider understanding and acceptance.
