Rainbow babies, the name coined for a healthy child born after miscarriage or baby loss, carry with them a happiness and sadness for their mothers. Named from the idea of a rainbow appearing in the sky after a dark and turbulent time, our protagonists reflect on the guilt and relief felt and the realization they are ‘one of the lucky ones’ to have another baby.
