Career and technical education

Across Luzerne County Community College, more than 240 high school students competed in 30 skilled trade and technical contests on Thursday.

The center for students in the Delaware Valley, Wallenpaupack Area, Wayne Highlands and Western Wayne school districts also would offer adult education. Area leaders say the center would have a major impact on the local workforce.
