You could use your fabulous Internet connection to try to find out a place where your bank is stable. And our last word in business today is look north. Canada has the world's soundest banking system according to a survey from the World Economic Forum. Next on the safe list is Sweden, followed by Luxemburg and Australia. If you're wondering about the United States, we ranked 40th. We have the 40th soundest banking system. We're behind Germany, Chile, and Namibia. Your bank would be more stable if it's in Namibia than in the United States. However, we're better off than Britain which is number 50, just below Peru.
