People of different disabilities and their families now have a monthly opportunity to get more information about resources that are available locally. My Center for Independent Living (MyCIL) representatives will be in the Albright Memorial Library’s Henkelman Room beginning Feb. 8 to meet with community members.
They will provide information about home -and community-based services, transportation, housing and other services to promote greater independence.
The meetings, a collaboration between MyCIL, the library and the City of Scranton, will be held the second Wednesday of each month. Appointments are required. They are offered between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
