Northeastern Educational Intermediate Unit

A growing number of Northeast Pennsylvania families seek early intervention support for their children. Programs provide services to children, from birth to age 5, with developmental delays and disabilities.

Twenty-five schools within the Northeastern Educational Intermediate Unit have Aevidum clubs. Aevidum translates to 'I've got your back,' and the clubs have soared in popularity as teens focus on mental health.

Schools throughout the region started Aevidum clubs after students returned to in-person learning amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Students in those clubs now increase mental health awareness and encourage classmates.

About 200 juniors and seniors participated in the National Apprenticeship Day event on Thursday, learning about careers that do not require a four-year college degree.
