Celebrate Memorial Day at the Sweet Valley Fireman’s parade and carnival. There are plenty of outdoor events planned for this weekend as well as a block party fundraiser for Scranton’s public libraries.

Benton locals traveled to Keeney Farms to watch Olympic wrestler Zain Retherford compete in the men’s freestyle round of 16. The early morning didn’t stop a group of over 50 people from watching the Benton native compete in his first Olympics.
