At the request of immigrants who brought the game here from India, Scranton will build a new pitch - the cricket term for playing field - at Chic Feldman Field in the Pine Brook neighborhood.

On any given weekend at the Forty Fort Sports Complex, you’ll find kids playing soccer, people out on runs and others trying out disc golf. And, now, you might find a bowler and batter lined up across a cricket pitch, surrounded by fielders waiting for a catch.
