Eckley Miners' Village

National program gives families who receive Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits free or reduced admission to more than 1,400 museums throughout the U.S., now including Scranton's trolley museum.

The region's anthracite mining past will be brought to the surface with a new coal breaker at Eckley Miners’ Village. The multi-million-dollar breaker also will symbolize the once unique landscape of the region.
