Sarah Hofius Hall was in Nanticoke this week as softball players from across the Northeast U.S. marched in a parade marking the start of nearly two weeks of widespread attention for youth sports in Luzerne County.

The honors include a second consecutive first-place beat reporting award for reporter Sarah Hofius Hall, as well as recognition for WVIA's politics and government, feature reporting, lifestyle and entertainment reporting and features videos.
