Alterra initially had plans for a plastic recycling plant in Luzerne County's Sugarloaf Twp. The company's chief development officer said Alterra expected to lease the land, but the landowner now wants to sell, causing the company to withdraw its plans.

William Snyder, of Milton, repeatedly sent the woman electronic messages begging her to take him back. She became so afraid that she and the murder victim installed a home video security system on her Sunbury home. Snyder was only a state trooper for 18 months, a period that includes his academy training.
