Union representatives for government employees are scrambling to understand the possible fate of several federal offices in Northeast Pennsylvania that appeared on lists slated for possible sale or lease termination.

More than 150 people marched in downtown Scranton after school on Tuesday, angry about the possible elimination of the U.S. Department of Education and concerned about the programs it administers.
